I haven’t forgot about you.
I’m not trying to neglect my blog. I’ve just been really busy. I’ve been working on that story for the contest with what writing time I do have. It’s up to 1700 words… which might sound like a good thing, because I’m just now about halfway done. The problem is the contest only wants stories that are 1500 words maximum. So I have this story that is going to most likely be about 3000 words for a contest I won’t be able to enter.
Oh well, I’ll just have to send it somewhere else because I think it is really good so far.
After I finish this story and submit it, I’m also going to submit Guardian Angel (my short fantasy story I wrote for “the challenge”). Speaking of submissions, I should be hearing back about those last two stories any day now. I only hope they are good responses like the one Len just received (if you haven’t been reading Len’s blog, you should be, the link is to the right).
I’m thinking about buying a game called Guild Wars. It’s another MMORPG, with no monthly fee. I’m a bit apprehensive about it for a few reasons. Mainly is, the last thing I need right now is to become addicted to 3 different games at once (Yes I said 3 because I’m beta testing another game… Shhhh! Not allowed to talk about it! But in all likelihood I will definitely be buying that game when it comes out). Plus I might become addicted to this game and neglect the game I am paying for. Then there is the thought I’m going to be shilling out $40 for a game I don’t know if I will even like and or ever play.
So those were the cons, here are the pros. I’ll have a character creator for a fantasy type setting that can help me design characters for my fantasy novel sitting on the back burner. I have a friend already playing (She’s one of my friends from City of Heroes) and she says it’s really fun. No monthly fee. And it got great reviews on IGN.com.
BTW, as far as City of Heroes goes everything has been straightened out. My friends know what they need to know and they still talk to me and play with me. I was worried and full of anxiety over nothing it appears. Typical.
Other then that everything is good. The new car is good, the job is good (wish I was getting more money, but hey who doesn’t), I’m starting to exercise and write everyday. Things are looking up…
Which means any day now equivalent exchange is going to kick in…

I don't think you need to worry about a "bad" counter-balance occuring. Everything happens for a reason; if things are looking up, keep looking up at them. :)
Guild Wars is very much like Everquest, cept it's free. I know a few people who like it.... So it might not be something you don't like.
As for equvalant exchange.... have you ever thought the good things are ment to balance out the bad things that already happened? Cause the sounds of it to me, that you have had alot of bad things and not so many good things. :-D
So how is everything going on the story submission front? Any new word? IM/email/update your blog and let me know, bro!
Nix says: But, most importantly, did you go to see MirrorMask? I saw the trailer and it looked fucking great.
